HE WAS SO CLOSE:
We Were “Obamerica”…We Were More Tolerant…More Guilty…The End Of The 1st And 2nd Amendments Were Only A Clever Campaign Away…And Then America Woke Up
100% FED Up - Daniel Greenfield
Jan 5, 2017
Barack Obama promised hope. He promised change. It took America long enough to figure it out, but when we finally did, we discovered he didn’t have America’s best interests in mind. Outside of the race wars and hate he inspired in our youth, Barack Obama didn’t accomplish a single worthwhile or notable act. Thank God it’s finally over…
The Obama Era is Over
Obama and his supporters loved talking about history. His victory was historic. They were on the right side of history. History was an inevitable arc that bent their way. more

Why Obama needs to go quietly into the night

Obama's Legacy: First 'Post-Western' President
Washington Examiner
With two weeks left in his term, President Obama is signaling that he intends to do anything but go quietly once President-elect Trump takes office, rejecting the example set by most every other president. Obama's failure to emulate the class and deference shown him by President George W. Bush — allowing his successor to lead without interference from the previous occupant — will not work to the Democratic Party's advantage, nor will it be good for our divided nation. more

CAN WE RETURN OUR PRESIDENT? PLEASE?!
It is that time of year, when millions of Americans are returning Christmas gifts. Which makes one wonder: can we return President Obama? Michael Ramirez raises the question.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could tell someone, We changed our minds. We want to return President Obama!
Well, that is more or less what happened in November. Most Americans are glad to say goodbye to the Obama era, and welcome Donald Trump as our new President. As we look back on the wreckage of the last eight years, we say: the Trump administration can only be better.

The Last Days of Barack Obama
KEVIN D. WILLIAMSON December 29, 2016 @KEVINNR NATIONAL REIVEW
There will surely be others like him, and that should frighten us more than it does. Rock stars, the heroes who stormed the beaches at Normandy, or Jesus Christ Himself — it doesn’t matter who you are next to the president.
For the past year, there have been cringe-inducing headlines reminding us that x, y, or z is Barack Obama’s last as president. “This is Obama’s last Veterans’ Day as president,” the cable-news mouth said, as though that were the story. President Obama is about as beside-the-point as it is possible for a commander-in-chief to be on Veterans’ Day: He isn’t a veteran, for one thing. It isn’t his day.
But all the days are the president’s days.
The Kennedy Center honored James Taylor, Mavis Staples, Al Pacino, Martha Argerich, and the Eagles — it is easy to see Barack Obama as a James Taylor fan — and the headlines announced: “Obama’s last Kennedy Center honors as president.” Barack Obama is many things, but he is not exactly what you would call a man of culture. I doubt he knew who Martha Argerich was before he was called on to present her with an award. But everything the president touches is about the president — that is true of all recent presidents and especially true of this remarkably self-regarding one. READ MORE

Obama leaves scorched earth in Middle East
Secretary of State John Kerry speech Wednesday proved that since the beginning of his term, he neither understood nor did he grasp the dynamics of the Middle East. This is precisely why President Barack Obama's administration left scorched earth in its wake.
Kerry spared no effort to be the one history credits with resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but he failed, and badly, because the Palestinians remain unwilling to compromise. They do not even admit Israel is a Jewish state -- a state whose Jewish character is brought up again and again in Kerry's speech. But instead of admitting that the only ones to blame for his failure are the Palestinians, Kerry raged against Israel. His failed speech joins the many others that have been thrown in the dustbin of history. READ MORE
